The "fine print" if you will

These are my terms and conditions, please read this before making a booking!

1) All clients if appearing in the images will be required to sign a model release form. This is a standard procedure.

2) Brief sheet - upon booking a briefing sheet will be filled out detailing your exact requirements, this can be done in person or over the phone. This will be signed by both photographer and client before the shoot.

3) Usage rights - Intended use of images will be detailed on the brief sheet. E.g: If a company pays for images for posters, it is for posters only. If the company later wishes to use the images for flyers, a seperate fee may be payable, depending on size/print run etc so the company would be legally obliged contact the photographer before going ahead with this.

4) Copyright - Copyright of ALL images taken by the photographer is retained by the photographer.

5) Cancellation fee - Once you have confirmed a booking that time is set aside for you. If you need to cancel or re-arrange for any reason then please give a reasonable amount of notice. Less than 48 hours notice for a cancellation will result in a fee of 50% of the original booking fee.

6) All images taken for a client are available on CD web-ready for use on sites such as myspace, facebook and modelling sites for a fee of £5. The images will be watermarked and must not be edited in any manner. Small alterations such as b&w etc can be requested free of charge.

7) If myself or any of the portrait party team are given any reason to feel threatened or intimidated then we reserve the right to leave at any time. Any deposit paid will not be refunded.

8) Weddings - 50% of the package cost is payable upon booking, this acts as a non-refundable deposit if you decide to cancel the booking.

9) Myself and/or the portrait party team will travel up to a 15 mile radius without fuel costs. Further afield will incur fuel/travel costs.

10) Prices for prints/canvas are not listed on the site as these are subject to change. A current basic price list will be given to you at the shoot detailing print/canvas sizes (these are not subject to change). As a rough guide the cheapest item is a 5"x4" print at £5.00, and the most expensive is a 4-tile canvas, each canvas measuring 20"x20", at £350.00.

11) In the unlikely event that you are unhappy with your items, a refund will be given upon receipt of the item. This MUST be done at time of handover.

12) Portraits - single/double 'studio style' portraits can be shot in your own home (if you have adequate space). Larger groups will have to be shot in the studio on Linthorpe Road, M'bro. This will incur an extra £15 an hour charge for rent of the studio.

13) If you have net access then your images, when ready, will be put onto a password protected online gallery for viewing. If not, a preview-book can be sent to you.

14) I reserve the right to use any images for promotional purposes. I will mention this at the shoot and if you do not wish for your images to be used in this manner, that is perfectly fine, but please make this clear.

15) When booking a shoot I will presume that you have read my Terms and Conditions and agree to adhere to them.

16) Crops on preview images may differ slightly to crops of ordered items, depending on what size/format print you have ordered.

16) Portrait parties:

a) The minimum booking for hair and make-up for a portrait party is 3 people. There is not a maximum limit but please bear in mind that this will take half an hour per person.

b) Please remind anybody in the party wanting hair and make-up to have some kind of idea what 'look' they are after before we arrive.

c) Please remember though we are limited for time and consider your hair type eg: if you have very thin, fly-away hair it is unlikely that we are able to create a huge bouffant for you! So please come with a few ideas but do not worry if you are a bit stuck, our very creative hair stylist will be able to recommend something to compliment your individual face shape and hair type.

d) Please note we do not wash/dry/cut/dye hair. Styling only!

e) If you request back-combing we do not hold any responsibility for consequent hair damage. Lots of conditioner usually does the trick!

e) All money is to be paid on the night, upon arrival.

f) Price includes one 10"x8" print in presentation sleeve, per person. These will be delivered to the party-holders address.
